We have reserved 10 rooms at Best Western, in the town of Taos, New mexico. It is walking distance from town. They offer full hot breakfast for free. Complimentary glass of wine in the evenings and Native American dances for entertainment around 7 pm. normally the rooms go for 120 dollars (tax included). We are being offered 89. 22 (tax included) rooms if we get at least 10 rooms.

Super 8 is in the outskirts of town at around 70 dollars with tax but do not offer full hot breakfast, wine, entertainment, pool, and the town nearby with fireworks on Saturday.

The number is (575) 758 2275. Rooms are reserved under Harley Owners Group #1484.

The trip to Springerville was not possible because no hotel rooms were available. We are thinking of doing a Taos Red river ride on the fourth of July weekend. We are thinking of getting 10 rooms at either Super 8 or Best Western in Taos. We alredy have at least 5 of the rooms spoken for. I need to know how many people are interested to see about more rooms are needed. The more we have the better the rates. We are planning on departing on Friday morning (7-3) and returning Sunday morning (7-5). We will have dinner in Taos and if we have a pick- up maybe a cookout.  I need to know ASAP. Thank you my HOG bros. Also check websight for more upcoming info starting Monday evening (6-21).

Luis Gomez has set up a trip to Springerville, Arizona. It’s about 313 miles one way. The current plan is to do this over the 4th of July weekend. Please contact Luis email or  phone to let him know if you are interested, or to simply get more information. He currently has 10 reservations at a hotel there, but can get more if the interest is there. See the email that was sent to all members for Luis’ contact info.

Tomorrow, we plan to meet at the normal east side location, Saul Kleinfeld & Montana TEXACO at 8AM. Ride will be a short one to Clint for breakfast, probably going through Horizon to get there. I’ll be there tomorrow, hope to see you there!
