Remember, this weekend is Demo Ride Days at Barnett Harley-Davidson.

Barnett’s would like our help in chaperoning customers who will be taking out the 2009 bikes for test rides. For more information, contact Dennis Margheim at 592-5804. This could be your chance to ride all the new models, and who knows, maybe you’ll find one that you’ll want to buy. It can happen; that’s when I fell in love with my Heritage Softail Classic – during the last Demo Ride Days.  My wife has told me I can’t ride any of the new models because she’s scared I might find another bike.

Seriously though, if you can find the time this Friday or Saturday to help out, please do! I’ll be there all day Friday. Hope to see you there.

Marilyn and I have been building these burgers for the past 19 years.  We had believed that they would be served at the end of the Lost Souls / McDonald house benifit run again this year.  There has been a slight change of plans… OK maybe bigger than slight.  The owner of the last stop has decided to cater the run himself.  Now we are still looking to do our thing, one more time in El Paso.  We would like to do it with the group, maybe at Cohen stadium, for the fourth of july fireworks display in the parking lot.  This is not set in stone, and we are open to other suggestions, but we will need a good head count to build enough burgers.  Call if anyone needs to 491-9330 after 5:00 pm                           thanks Jim Altebaumer
